RECRUITMENT OF A CABINET / OFFICE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PLAN FOR INDIGENOUS POPULATIONS (APP) IN THE CAB5 PROJECT.
The Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has received a donation from the International Development Association (IDA) under the CAB 5 project and intends to use part of this grant to make payments Under the consulting services contract for the development of a plan for indigenous peoples (AP).
The overall objective of this mission is to develop an operational plan for the PAs around the CAB 5 network in accordance with the requirements of the World Bank Operational Policy 4.10 to ensure that the development process proposed by the Project, as well as other community members.
The duration of the assignment is two (02) months from the date of the contract’s entry into force.
The Congolese Society of Optical Fiber “SOCOF SA” invites eligible candidates to express their interest in providing the services described above while providing the necessary information demonstrating that they possess the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform professionally the services (Previous references to similar missions, experience under similar conditions, availability of prior knowledge, etc.). Candidates can join forces to strengthen their respective skills. The criteria for shortlisting are: general qualifications required and relevant experiences relevant to the mission.
It is brought to the attention of applicants that provisions 1.9 of the “Guidelines for Selection and Use of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants”, current edition (“Consultant Guidelines”), relating to the World Bank’s conflict of interest rules apply.
A consultant (firm or firm) will be selected according to the Qualification of Consultants (QC) method in accordance with the procedures defined in the “Guidelines for the Selection and Use of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, Current Edition”.
