In the 90th minute of the Mazembe-Bukavu Dawa match played yesterday Sunday (June 25th) at the Mazembe stadium in Lubumbashi, the scorer showed 0 for Mazembe and 0 for Bukavu Dawa. As a result, the referee signaled 7 minutes of additional time to the great satisfaction of the Lushois public, and to the contempt of the players of Bukavu Dawa who thought they had done the necessary. As if that was not enough, in the 94th minute, the referee awards a penalty to Mazembe. Rainford Kalaba takes charge and opens the scoring. In the 97th minute, the same Kalaba returns for the second goal on a pass of Issama Mpeko. What a game ! TP Mazembe struggled hard by scoring in extra time. The match was dominated by the South Kivutians who played the all-out. They deserved everything in this game except the defeat. Fecofa, who no longer jokes about bad arbitration, will certainly take a look at it, to see if there has not been what it calls “intentionally serious technical faults”. Meanwhile, Mazembe now has 27 points for 12 matches. The leader is DC Motema Pembe and AS V. Club.

The meeting on Saturday 24 June, 24 hours after the Kinshasa derby, preceded first by a descent to the stadium of the Martyrs for the report, did not result in sanctions that would weigh on the Fc Renaissance of Congo. On the instruction of Fecofa, who now have eyes on this 22nd edition of the national championship, the result of this match Renaissance-Vclub (1-2) was suspended. At the latest news, Fecofa holds an important meeting on Monday 26 June, after which it will decide on the continuation of this match.

The meeting Renaissance-Vclub, it should be clarified, did not end in fish tail. The match came to a normal end. There was the final whistle, consecrating the victory of Vclub on the mark of 2 goals to 1.

The second goal of Vclub, known as ” wining goal ”, was scored very nicely in the 90th minute by the one who was nicknamed this Friday at the stage ” Ne Muanda Nsemi ”, his real name Taggy Agiti Etekiama . Unhappy with this defeat, as they were preparing to celebrate the draw, Fc Renaissance supporters have gone to another phase, unexpectedly, throwing projectiles on the playground, destroying everything on Their passage, including the camera of the national chain. At the end of the match, they invaded the playground, offering a sad spectacle for Congolese football. It is clear from the descent of the Fecofa, accompanied by the officers of the judicial police at the stadium of the Martyrs that the observation is very bitter after this match. The Fecofa met immediately on the same Saturday to sanction the authors but without success. Decisions are expected on Monday. As a reminder, on May 10, the Linafoot had seriously struck FC Renaissance of the Congo, a decision endorsed by Fecofa. He was placed in charge of the Fc Renaissance, a forfeit in match counting for the 7th day against Dcmp, in accordance with article 80, 31 of the CDF, for intentionally removing the corner flags compulsory to the marking of the ground, and also in accordance with Law 1 and 17 point 8 of the FIFA Regulations. To do this, the Linafoot had summoned Renaissance to pay a correctional almond of 7,500 American dollar. Renaissance was also to repair the damage caused, and in the event of a repeat offense, the team of Bishop Pascal Mukuna was warned to be excluded from the competition and relegated to the Lower Division. It is not known if this is the sanction that awaits Renaissance on Monday.

Sad end of championship for Renaissance

The Fc Renaissance of the Congo is now out of the race. The team of ‘Bana Fibo’ which made dream at the beginning of the championship, will gain nothing this season. Renaissance will not even be able to hope for a third place in the standings, synonymous with a qualification in the next competitions club competitions. Three days from the end of the national championship, 2017 edition, the title race becomes very interesting without the Renaissance of the Congo. As Vclub joined Dcmp in the standings with each 24 points. The details are only played in terms of goal-average. Dcmp a +14, and Vclub +9. Fibo stayed very far, static, with 15 points.

The country is going very badly. Congolese. December 2017 approach ”. This is the call of the Bishops launched yesterday, Friday June 23, 2017, in a new thunderous statement issued after the 54th Ordinary Session of the CENCO held in Kinshasa. The Bishops, conscious of their pastoral role, are mobilizing for peace, elections and democratic alternation. They say it themselves, in this declaration with boumerang effects. But who will listen to them? The question remains, however, as long as they have not received favorable echo from the authorities, the Congolese people and the international community.

    Diagnostic

The Bishops, drawing up a gloomy picture of the country’s overall situation, consider that the only roadmap, the only one that can bring the country out of the impasse, is that of the full and immediate implementation of the Agreement Of 31 December 2016, which provided, inter alia, for the organization of elections at the end of December 2017, the institution of a transition punctuated by consensual management not exceeding 12 months, the destabilization of the political climate, with the release of certain figures Emblematic of the Opposition and, above all, the abandonment of certain legal proceedings, administrative or police harassment against some opponents and the consecration of the freedom of opinion and public demonstrations.

    Where is the CNSA?

In the same Agreement, as negotiated at the Interdiocesan Center, Gombe, there was also provision for the establishment of a National Council for the Follow-up of the Agreement, CNSA, Etienne Tshisekedi wa Mulumba, Was to preside over to ensure the successful completion of the transition process with a view to holding credible, transparent, democratic and peaceful elections. ” In tempore on suspecto ”, it is said. The agreement proscribed any likelihood of going to a referendum, just as it would banish any idea of constitutional revision. The current Head of State, Joseph Kabila Kabange, under the terms of the New Year’s Eve Agreement, remained in office until the effective establishment of his elected successor.

    Focus on elections

The Bishops consider, however, that in order to arrive at the elections within the deadlines set by the Agreement, it was necessary that voter registration should take place in record time and that an electoral calendar and an electoral register should be published before At the end of July 2017. However, to date, the pace of this enrollment in the dropper, worried less than it reassures. The Bishops, in their defending body, believe that by the time of December 2017, it is more than time to challenge the Congolese authorities, the CENI, the government and the Congolese people so that arrangements are made, To avoid, certainly, falling into a new trap of institutional and political stagnation.

    Thorns

The death of Tshisekedi wa Mulumba on 1 February 2017 at the Clinique Sainte Elisabeth in Brussels, Belgium, shortly before the signing of the Particular Arrangement which was supposed to serve as a basis for the application of this Agreement, paradoxically complicated The equation, with the atomization of the Rally, its mega political platform. Moreover, the appointment and nomination of two Prime Ministers, within a few months, in the absence of a genuine consensus, would not have contributed to the progress of the mechanisms which, Putting the electoral process back on track once and for all. The Bishops, drawing lessons from the cataclysm and the chaos on the horizon, demand that the elections be held at the end of December 2017. They also rely on the Congolese people and invite them to Take its destiny into its own hands. To the international community, the Bishops ask for a significant accompaniment to the normalization of the electoral process, although it is still confronted, at least, so far, with many pitfalls.

    Hello ?

Salvation is also in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2348, which, since March 2017, recalled the urgent need for all parties engaged in direct discussions not to step on Spirit and letter of the December 31, 2016 Agreement, laboriously negotiated, from December 8, 2016 to March 27, 2017.

    Temperature

As for the drama at Grand Kasai, the Bishops have no tongue in their pockets.

They demand an independent and serious investigation into these inhuman afflictions. The socio-economic situation undermines the main levers and aggregates of the macroeconomic framework, the brutal and vertiginous fall of the Congolese Franc, the surge in the prices of goods and services on the market, Speculation and other deterioration of the business climate, threats to strike, and all the disturbances that are undoubtedly true signs of a disaster with multiple feuds and collateral damage.

    Call

Yet a little good governance was enough to stop this descent into the underworld. Why, then, do we not go back to the spirit that prevailed in 2016, when, for example, we had to approach the last straw before the end of President Kabila’s second and last term? They wonder, in terms that are unique to them, but quite understandable, if we are to identify the substance of their approach. They recommend, on the whole, a return to good feelings and a burst of patriotic pride. In any case, discover, in extenso, this new declaration of the Bishops, which naturally raises mountains.

The Congolese Minister of Justice, Alexis Thambwe Mwamba, held a press conference on Monday in Geneva (Switzerland) where he is staying. During his “selective” press conference, Thambwe Mwamba reportedly declared the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) will refuse any independent investigation by United Nations experts into the cruel violence committed in the Kasai area. Unless they cooperate with the Congolese magistrates.

According to Anglo Congo, who is delivering this information on its facebook page, “this position will not improve the brand image – already deteriorated – of the DRC before the UN bodies”.
Before denouncing a possible campaign by the Kinshasa authorities in Geneva against an international fact-finding mission on violence in the Kasaï region.

The High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Raad al-Hussein, last week called for the launch of international investigations into human rights violations in central and eastern Kasai. “A resolution on the subject will be put to the vote at the Human Rights Council on Thursday or Friday,” said Anglo Congo. The establishment of a one-year international fact-finding mission would pose a “problem” and “would be difficult to apply,” assured the press the Congolese Minister of Justice.

If it accepts the assistance of international experts working under the auspices of Congolese magistrates, the government refuses to give the reins of ongoing investigations to foreign judges. Thambwe Mwamba suggested that the DRC would refuse to welcome members of such a mission. “How do you want experts to go to a foreign country without going through the national authorities? (…) How will they get visas? How will they have access to the provinces? He asked himself.

The result would be the setting up, as in the past in other countries, of independent commissions which have merely gone to border countries and listened to refugees.

The violence in Kasai involves militia, soldiers and policemen. They killed more than 400 people – including two UN investigators killed in March – and caused the displacement of 1.3 million people.

    Four murderers arrested!

Mr. Thambwe Mwamba underlined the competence of the Congolese justice system and the progress made on the ongoing investigations. ”  The four main murderers of the two UN experts have been identified and arrested,” said the Minister of Justice. Their trial began on June 5th. The other eight people appearing in the video of the decapitations are on the run. Another trial, on the massacre of civilians by soldiers, is taking its course,  “he reassured.

However, Thambwe Mwamba did not specify when the two procedures will be completed. When asked about the fate of the main opponent Moses Katumbi, the Minister of Justice said he could return to the DRC when he wants. He will, however, have to appear before the courts.

As a candidate for the next presidential election, Mr. Katumbi was sentenced to 3 years in prison in a real estate case and has yet to appear in a security trial. Exiled in Brussels, he recently lodged a complaint in Geneva against the Congolese authorities to the Human Rights Committee for “continued fury”. He has already won a small victory.

In a letter dated 13 June, the UN agency called on the DRC government to allow it to return and ensure its security.

    Instruction in Belgium

The Minister of Justice, on the other hand, is the subject of an investigation in Belgium in a file dating back to his rebel period from the Congolese Rally for Democracy (RCD) in 1998. Then, opposed to Laurent-Désiré Kabila, he Had announced that his movement had blown up a Boeing in full flight. An airplane that welcomed military Kabilists according to him. A version refuted by the complainant in this file which explains that the plane, taking off from Kindu (1200 km east of Kinshasa) was occupied by fifty civilians.

    A bon entendeur, salut.

    -Le CEPADHO invite les Communautés du Nord-Kivu à plus de vigilance pour démasquer la conspiration des ex-M23 et tous leurs stratagèmes;
