Sometimes when you’re trying to work out how the day might end, friends start arriving with your day already planned for you, but it’s a good thing to get out of your comfort zone and explore a new territory. The great thing with Congo RDC, it’s a photographers paradise as everywhere you turn, there’s much to photograph. However this can be problematic when you have many friends that know you’re a photographer,it’s never easy to spend sometime by yourself photographing….
We always try our best to create a set that makes our models happy-photography is not about just pointing a camera and shooting, but the set should also be pleasant to your subject. Our upcoming model shoots will be around different subjects-more of photo journalism.
Its always good to have Diba around as she understands the art of posing-Diba has been working on some serious choreography for her upcoming Dance video.
It was a great photo-shoot with Kapela, as we’ve been putting it off due to bad weather-Virunga mountains rain can sometimes annoy…using some ingenuity, we’re able to use green architecture to our advantage.
The beautiful Kapela appreciates nature and its gifts, that’s why she just blends in….
Our Congolese Models are not only for showing off/posing, but are also involved in the virunga Multimedia project, and next-time you come across a video of Kapela singing, etc, don’t be surprised.
The quite Kinsala,as she loves saying…has a brilliant memory- she can sing out 1000 telephone numbers, without missing any. Now, that’s a great mind. But people are not about only a good brain, their beauty should also be appreciated.
Instead of her real name Sabrina Kayipu,we call her Baby Rasta-she’s the type of girl that will fly from one end of the world to go and visit a friend that is not feeling well. Now, that’s a heart of gold!
This is just a tester of what is in store for our dear readers! This Congolese model project is getting better everyday as the working environment is getting better and new people have joined us. Don’t miss the next issue as it will be the official launch of the 1st Edition.
